Your Trip to the
South Rim of the Grand Canyon
Most
people who visit the Grand Canyon come to the South Rim. Access to the
South Rim and to all visitor facilities is open all year long.
Because the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is so popular, there will be lots of traffic and parking will be limited, especially in the summer. For reduced congestion, you might want to consider visiting Grand Canyon National Park in the late fall or winter months. But do be aware that severe winter weather is likely during that time.
