Arizona Grand Canyon - North Rim

Planning Your Trip to the
North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National ParkBecause it is more remote and there are fewer services, fewer people visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. North Rim services are closed during the fall and winter months.

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is higher than the South Rim, and is therefore likely to be cooler. Also, even modest exercise at this elevation can feel strenuous.

It is harder to see into the depths of the Grand Canyon from the available view points. But these scenic spots do provide great views across the canyon expanse.
